Design and performance of a dark?field probe with confocal Raman spectroscopy for ophthalmic applications

A dark-field ophthalmic contact probe for analysis of aqueous humor (AH) was designed by ray tracing and constructed in quartz glass experimental use as a prototype confocal Raman spectroscopic setup. The misalignment tolerance this theoretically evaluated, whereas the optical performance experimentally evaluated concentration curve ocular drug phenylephrine HCl an artificial eye model. results indicated ninefold improvement 36-fold signal-to-noise ratio at 1002?cm?1 peak compared with previous design. showed good linear fit concentration, R2 0.996. Phenylephrine down to 0.1% is detectable.
